Our History
Founded in 2004 in Edinburgh, Scotland, Spiritual Research Network (SRN) began as part of Chris Lawson’s Scotland Missions outreach (2003-2007). Initially focused on church planting, we quickly saw the need for biblical discernment and support for spiritually abused Christians.
Visit Our MinistryIn a culture deeply influenced by secular humanism, Neo-Paganism, and false teachings, SRN emerged as a discernment-based Christian outreach, equipping believers with biblical truth to stand against spiritual deception.
From the start, SRN has confronted false doctrines and warned against the infiltration of mysticism and occult-based spirituality in the church:
- New Age & Mysticism: Addressing the dangers of contemplative prayer, visualization, and Eastern religious practices.
- Spiritual Abuse & False Movements: Exposing manipulative teachings and doctrinal distortions.
- Defending Biblical Christianity: Standing against ecumenical compromise and promoting sound doctrine.
In 2007, SRN relocated to California, expanding its reach through biblical research, apologetics, and Christian education. Our mission remains the same – proclaim the gospel, warn against false teachings, and equip believers with biblical discernment.
